TDLR – Continuing Education for Electricians

Stay Licensed. Stay Competitive.
Stay Informed.

At MSTI, we understand the importance of staying current in your trade. As a TDLR-approved provider, we offer a high-quality Continuing Education (CE) course for electricians that meets all the state’s licensing requirements while delivering real value to working professionals.

Whether you’re a Master Electrician or Journeyman, our course is designed to help you meet your annual education requirements with ease and confidence, while gaining insights that keep you safe, compliant, and sharp on the job.

Why TDLR Continuing Education is Required

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) requires licensed electricians to complete four (4) hours of state-approved continuing education each year before they can renew their license. These four hours must include training in:

  • The National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Texas state laws and rules related to electricians
  • Electrical safety

Failing to complete this requirement before your license expiration date can result in penalties or delays in renewal—which can disrupt your ability to work and cost you valuable time and income.

At MSTI, we help you avoid those setbacks. Our courses are not just boxes to check—they’re informative, engaging, and relevant to the real work you do every day.
