Public Relations Committee

The ABC Public Relations Committee supports local charities and gives back to our local communities.  Not only does this better our communities, but in doing so, they project a positive image of ABC and their members to the general public to enhance the business opportunities for merit shop contractors, suppliers and their associates.  This committee supports local charitable organizations through activities such and Food and Toy Drives and charitable donations through fund-raising events such as the annual Barbecue Cook-Off.

Meets:  2nd Tuesdays at 3:00 p.m.

ABC Public Relations Donates $10,000

To Area Charitable Organizations

 

On July 14, 2022 the ABC Texas Gulf Coast Chapter, Public Relations Committee presented charitable fund donations from the proceeds of the 2020 ABC Cook-off as follows:

Brazoria County Dream Center Backpack Buddies Program - $3,000.00

Military Moms and Wives of Brazoria County - $3,000.00

Actions Inc. of Brazoria County - $3,000

ABC Christmas Holiday Senior Citizen and Toy Drive - $1,000

These charities expressed their sincere appreciation to the ABC Public Relations Committee and to the ABC members and industry owners for their support in making the fundraising event a success!
