ABC Texas Gulf Coast and MSTI welcomed thirty seven local craftsmen, their guests, their sponsor companies, and Brazosport College craft program coordinators to the 35th Annual ABC/MSTI Graduation Ceremony for the Craft Training Program. These craftsmen received their certificates, an ABC shirt and cap, and a professional photo in addition to a special dinner.
Roger Blackburn, Infinity Construction Services, was the Master of Ceremonies and speaker. His message about a personal quest emphasized the importance of perseverance in reaching goals. He related the story of the man who spent 18 years searching for the Titanic. His reward, however, for that perseverance, was finally fulfilling his quest. He encouraged these young graduates to set goals and persevere as they are the future of our industry.

2011 ABC/MSTI Craft Training Graduates: A total of 37 craftsmen received MSTI
Certificates of Completion in the following areas—Electrical, Instrumentation,
Millwright, Pipefitting, Scaffolding, Welding, and Construction Management. Also
honored at the ceremony: 2011 High School graduates who received ABC/MSTI
scholarships to Brazosport College: Front left, Raquel Parrales, Brazosport HS;
Front right, Jordan Crowley, Brazoswood HS and Tyler Caldwell, Angleton HS.
The ABC and MSTI Boards of Directors and Membership Committees offer congratulations to these graduates and to their companies for an outstanding accomplishment. In the spirit of the evening, we encourage each to continue the path of education and training as they pursue their dreams and become the experts in their crafts.
