Skills Assessment Program

Merit Shop Training, Inc. is an Approved Assessment Center for the NCCER National Craft Assessment and Certification Program. These assessments are designed to assess and recognize the knowledge and skills of the craft worker. Once assessed, a "Prescription for Training" is provided to both the craft worker and their employer advising them of any possible specific skill upgrade training that might be needed.

Individuals:
    Craft exams: $40 each
    Pipeline exams: $70 each
    *Must pay to schedule

Members:
   Crafts: $35 (web based)
   Crafts: $37 (paper)
   $40 Mobile Crane
   $40 Spanish exams
   $70 Pipeline

Non-member:
   Crafts: $70 (web based)
   Crafts: $74 (paper)
   $80 Mobile Crane
   $80 Spanish exams
   $140 pipeline

Participants scheduled by a company MUST be registered 24 hours in advance on the appropriate form with written confirmation from ABC/MSTI.

Assessments Administered At Contractors' Facility

Proctors are available evenings and weekends, in addition to regularly scheduled workdays. These sessions must be scheduled 3 days in advance and require a minimum of 5 participants. Proctor fee (applicable to every session administered away from the ABC office): $25 per hour including travel time + mileage

Craft Performance Verifications

$15 - Members (per person per submission)
$30- Non-Member (per person per submission)

ABC Cards

$5 - NCCER Accredited Sponsor Member Submitting Directly To NCCER & needing only ABC card
