SKILLS ASSESSMENT PROGRAM

Skills Assessment Program

Merit Shop Training, Inc. is an Approved Assessment Center for the NCCER National Craft Assessment and Certification Program. These assessments are designed to assess and recognize the knowledge and skills of the craft worker. Once assessed, a "Prescription for Training" is provided to both the craft worker and their employer advising them of any possible specific skill upgrade training that might be needed.

Fee

ABC TGC Members:
Crafts: $40
Pipeline $75

Individuals/Non-members:
Craft exams: $60 each
Pipeline exams: $150 each
*Must pay in advance to schedule

Participants MUST be scheduled 24 hours in advance.

Assessments Administered At Contractors' Facility

Proctors are available evenings and weekends, in addition to regularly scheduled workdays. These sessions must be scheduled 5 days in advance and require a minimum of 5 participants. Proctor fee (applicable to every session administered away from the ABC office): $30 per hour including travel time + mileage
