Goals:
- Coordinate legislative efforts with other ABC chapters in our state through ABC of Texas.
- Sponsor Legislative Communications events with Chamber of Commerce.
- Increase committee and membership participation.
- Provide position papers on key issues & candidates to assist membership in decision making.
- Get legislation out to the right levels (CEO’s, Human Resources Directors, Safety Directors, Education Coordinators).
- Continue getting updated legislative information out through: fax, grassroots, network, committee meetings, General Membership meeting and articles in the “Coastline.”
- Legislative issues on agenda for all committee meetings.
- Provide testimony at the state and local level regarding pending legislation.
Committee meetings will be scheduled on an as needed basis.
