CONTRACTORS FOR KIDS AND COMMUNITY

Vision: Act as a non-profit vehicle to collect funds from contractors, their employees and the community at large to distribute throughout our local community to improve the health, well being, education, and safety of all people and to garner recognition and respect for the impact of the construction industry and Associated Builders and Contractors.

Goals:

Provide funding mechanism:

Direct Company contributions:

A. Contractor/Employee contributions

B. Fund-raising activities
Increase awareness of the organization to the contractors and general public:

A. ABC events and fund-raising

B. Newspaper coverage

C. Participating in community events

D. Partner with Habitat for Humanity - Toy box Campaign

Oversee the distribution of funds:

A. Construction Employee Assistance Program: aimed at assisting the families of construction employees and ABC members who have identified special circumstances that may require additional help.

B. Children and Education Contributions: aimed at individual needs of children in the community, as well as funding special educational related activities (i.e. scholarships, camps, field trips, etc.)

C. Community Charitable Organizations: aimed at assisting existing community groups.

Committee will meet quarterly or on an as needed basis.
