Merit Shop Training (MSTI)

MSTI is the educational affiliate of ABC Texas Gulf Coast, is an NCCER Accredited Training Sponsor and Assessment Center with the ability to deliver credentials through craft training, written assessments and performance verifications. MSTI is committed to workforce development and offers scholarships each year to area high schools. This scholarship is provided through Brazosport College  our 40+ year partner, for students wishing to study crafts or other construction related fields.

The OSHA Education Center at The University of Texas at Arlington is the top-ranked OSHA Training Institute Education Center in the country. The Center provides OSHA prescribed professional and regulatory instruction through educators with decades of real world experience and leadership that upholds the highest quality standards to ensure students have training and support services required to protect workers, reduce losses, and realize the profitability of a safe and healthful work environment. Additionally, four levels of professional certifications are available in multiple tracks including: Safety and Health, Construction, General Industry, Oil & Gas, and Risk Management. These classes will be held at ABC Texas Gulf Coast Chapter in Freeport, Texas. MSTI is not an OTI Education Center, but serves as a host training organization for The University of Texas at Arlington OSHA Training Institute Education Center.
